NSW dentist pleads not guilty to assaults

Former Sydney dentist Rodger Garry Leighton has pleaded not guilty to a string of historical child sex charges.
Leighton appeared briefly at Sydney's Downing Centre District Court on Friday via video link from custody.
He pleaded not guilty to 10 counts of indecently assaulting young girls between 1974 and 1979. A trial date has been set down for February 2017.
