NSW dad disappears with baby daughter

A father is being urged to contact police after going missing with his three-month-old daughter near Lake Macquarie two days ago.

Baby Kalais Reid was with her mother when they met the child's father, Danny Wever (also known as Danny Reid) in Morisset on Sunday afternoon, police said.

Mr Wever, 26, took Kalais to a nearby shopping centre but did not return, police say.

Police hold concerns for the baby and have asked for the father to attend the nearest police station with his daughter.

Mr Wever is 160cm-170cm with a thin build and has a small tattoo under his left eye.
