Adults and children have been forced to jump over flames to escape a burning shop on the NSW Central Coast.

CCTV allegedly shows a man pouring petrol into the store in The Entrance and on the pavement outside, before setting it alight with the family inside.

Police allege he poured petrol through a hole he made by smashing a window at the shop at 4pm yesterday and set it alight.
