Namoa admits interrogation charges

The teen wife of terror suspect Sameh Bayda has admitted she refused to answer dozens of questions about his alleged support for Islamic State and a possible terrorist attack.

Alo-Bridget Namoa, 18, watched on via video-link in Sydney's Downing Centre Local Court on Thursday as her solicitor Sophie Toomey told the court she would plead guilty to 31 counts of failing or refusing to answer questions during a NSW Crime Commission grilling earlier this month.

Court documents show Namoa was asked why she had said she wanted to "do an Islamic Bonnie and Clyde on the kaffir" and whether she and Bayda had discussed places "to conduct an attack".

She will be sentenced on those charges on March 3.

Namoa had been free on bail in relation to the Crime Commission charges but was re-arrested on Tuesday to answer more serious terror allegations.

The young woman from Auburn in Sydney's west is yet to enter any plea on those fresh charges but Ms Toomey has told reporters she intends to fight them.

Namoa has not applied for bail in that case, meaning she will remain behind bars until her sentencing, when prosecutors are expected to formally request that she be detained in relation to Crime Commission charges.
