Motorcycle convoy stops traffic as hoon hurtles through busy Sydney intersection

A convoy of motorcyclists have been filmed stopping traffic to allow a car to recklessly speed through a busy intersection in Sydney’s west.

Dashcam video shared by 2GB radio host Ray Hadley’s program showed a group of motorcyclists turning right from Hassall Street in Rosehill on Sunday afternoon.

At least three bikes stop in the middle of the road, as a silver coloured car can be heard revving its engine as the traffic lights turn amber.

The car then appears to tear through the intersection and speed up James Ruse Drive.

Assistant Commissioner Michael Corboy told Hadley NSW Police are now investigating.

“This (video) makes my blood boil. These people will be getting knocks on their doors and maybe having their motorbikes confiscated,” Asst. Comm. Corboy said this morning.

“We’re going to go as hard as we can on these people.”
