Missing Sydney man, 98, found but dies

A 98-year-old man who wandered off from a retirement home in Sydney's west has died of hypothermia after being found in a nearby park.

The man went missing from the Dean Park facility on Saturday and was discovered suffering from hypothermia in bushland in the park early on Sunday.

He was hospitalised in a critical condition but soon died.
