Man to face court for alleged axe attack

A man who allegedly threatened people with an axe at a southwest Sydney medical centre is due in court on assault and other charges.
Police said a 37-year-old man was allegedly armed with an axe at a Bankstown medical centre, threatening people after an argument with a woman about a parking space on Thursday morning.
The man was charged with being armed with intent, common assault and other offences, and was refused bail to appear at Bankstown Local Court on Friday.
