Man shot in leg in Sydney's west

A 26-year-old man has been shot in the leg in Sydney's west.

Police say emergency services were called to a reserve in Fairfield West at about 3am on Friday following reports of shots fired.

The injured man had a single gunshot wound to his leg and was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.

A crime scene has been established and police are urging anyone with information on the incident to contact them.
