Man robbed at gunpoint at NSW holiday park

A holidaymaker sitting on the front porch of a cabin at a Byron Bay holiday park has been robbed at gunpoint by man in a black balaclava.

The 43-year-old man was relaxing at the cabin on Broken Head Road park when a man carrying a shortened handgun approached him at about 8pm on Wednesday

The offender ushered the victim inside the cabin before ransacking the place and stealing several mobile phones and laptops.

Police are appealing for information from anyone who may have seen the man, dressed in a black hoodie, black pants and a balaclaba with grey facial hair.
