Man rescued after falling down Bondi cliff

A man has been winched to safety after falling down a cliff at North Bondi.

Emergency crews, including a helicopter, were called to Bondi Golf Club in eastern Sydney about 6.15am on Monday.

It's believed the man was climbing down a cliff, police said.

The man, reportedly aged in his 60s, has a leg injury.

He has been brought to safety and is being assessed by paramedics.
