Man locks doors after Sydney police chase

A man has been charged following a police chase that ended in officers forcing their way into his car in western Sydney.

The 25-year-old was chased by police and stopped at Parramatta Road in Granville, around 3am on Saturday morning, police say.

The driver allegedly locked his car doors and officers had to force entry into the vehicle.

The man's car was searched and police allegedly found cocaine, cash and mobile phones in the vehicle.

He faces multiple charges including supplying a prohibited drug and police pursuit and was refused bail to appear in court on Sunday.
