Man hit by truck on NSW highway

A man has died after being hit by a truck as he stepped out of his vehicle on a highway on the NSW south coast.
The man had stopped on the side of the Pacific Highway in Dapto, when he was struck on Thursday night.
The truck's driver was taken to hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests.
