Man glassed at Sydney pub

A man has been taken to hospital after being glassed in the face at a Sydney pub.

A 31-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a 35-year-old man, known to the victim, allegedly hit him in the face with a glass at a pub in Waterloo at around 10pm on Sunday night, police say.

The 31-year-old has since been released from hospital while the older man remains in hospital under police guard with cuts to his hand.
