Man dies after northern NSW road crash

A man has died after a two-vehicle crash on the Pacific Highway in northern NSW.

The 46-year-old died at the scene of the crash at Mummulgum, about 30km west of Casino, while a 73-year-old man behind the wheel of the other car was seriously injured and taken to Lismore Base Hospital following the Saturday afternoon collision.

Investigations into the crash continue and police have asked for any witnesses to come forward.
