Man dead after shooting in Sydney's west

A man has died following a shooting in Sydney's west.

Police visited the suburb of Doonside about 7.30pm on Monday following reports a man had been shot.

They found a man, suffering a number of gunshot wounds, who died at the scene.

No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing.
