Man critical after window fall in NSW
A man is fighting for his life after falling from the window of a public housing unit complex in NSW's Illawarra region.
Emergency services were called to a home on Todd Street in Warrawong about 10.15pm on Thursday and found the 48-year-old with multiple injuries.
The man suffered a head injury after falling one to five metres, a NSW Ambulance spokeswoman told AAP.
He was airlifted to St George Hospital and was in a critical but stable condition, a hospital spokeswoman said on Friday.
A Department of Family and Community Services spokeswoman said staff were saddened to hear of the incident.
"The person involved is being treated in hospital and FACS staff wish him and his family the best in his recovery," she said in a statement.
Police say the incident is not believed to be suspicious.
