Man charged with menacing motorbike riders

A man has been charged with menacing two teenager motorbike riders on the NSW north coast.

The 55-year-old driver allegedly drove into one boy, knocking him to the ground, and attacked the other boy's bike with an axe handle at Whiteman Creek Quarry, northwest of Grafton, on Friday afternoon.

He also fired a gun during the incident, police will allege.

The man was later arrested at a nearby home, where officer allegedly uncovered cannabis products with an estimated street value of around $133,000.

He has been charged with a range of drug, driving and intimidation offences and granted bail to appear in court on November 14.
