Man charged over replica gun threats

A man has been charged after allegedly threatening motorists with a replica firearm, on the M1, north of Sydney.
The 35-year-old man, who was a passenger in a car travelling between Newcastle and Sydney on Thursday afternoon, is accused of leaning out the window and pointing the gun at several other cars.
He's since been charged with four counts of intimidation and one count of possess prohibited pistol, and will front court in January.
