Sydney nursing home worker charged over alleged sex attack on resident

A nursing home employee has been charged with sexually assaulting a 72-year-old resident in Sydney's southwest.
Police say they were called by staff at the home in Padstow Heights after they became aware of the alleged assault on Sunday.
A 47-year-old man was arrested yesterday and charged with aggravated sexual assault.

He was refused bail and is due to appear at Liverpool Local Court later today.
