Man charged over stabbing attack on father in Sydney

A man's been charged after allegedly stabbing his father at a home in Sydney's southwest, leaving him critically injured.

Police say a 50-year-old man was rushed to hospital after being found at a home in Punchbowl this morning with multiple stab wounds.

The man's 36-year-old son was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with wound person intend to cause grievous bodily harm and cause wounding/grievous bodily harm to person with intent to murder.
