Man charged after Penrith club fight

A man will appear in court after he allegedly fractured the skull of another man during a fight at a western Sydney club.

Police say a 19-year-old Bidwill man was arrested at the club in Mulgoa Rd, Penrith and later charged with recklessly causing grievous bodily harm.

He's also been charged with assaulting another man who tried to intervene.

He'll face Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the injured 20-year-old man is in a stable condition in Westmead Hospital, where he's being treated for bleeding on the brain and a fractured skull.

A 20-year-old man, from Claremont Meadows, who intervened in the scuffle was treated for facial injuries.
