Large factory fire in Sydney's inner west

A furniture factory has been destroyed by fire in Sydney's inner west.

Firefighters were called to the blaze in Marrickville at about 9.45pm on Monday, with a number of people being evacuated from a factory opposite.

There were no reports of injuries and the blaze was brought under control.

A crime scene has been established while police and NSW Fire & Rescue officers investigate the cause of the fire.
