Sydney scrap metal business damaged in large blaze

Fire crews have contained a blaze that gutted a scrap metal business in Sydney's west this morning.
Firefighters believe the fire started about 8.30am and forced the evacuation of several nearby buildings.
More than 150 firefighters worked for several hours to contain the blaze.

No one was injured but it is believed the fire caused extensive damage to the building.

The emergency caused major traffic delays along the Cumberland Highway at Woodpark Road and motorists are still advised to avoid the area or use local diversions.
