Heavily armed police swoop on Sydney home

Investigations are continuing following a raid in Sydney's southwest involving heavily armed officers.

Police say no arrests were made after a search warrant was executed at Ferndale Road in Revesby on Thursday night.

A police spokeswoman confirmed officers from the tactical operations unit were on the scene in relation to an ongoing investigation.

A witness uploaded a photograph of a black armoured police Bearcat and multiple tactical unit officers armed with rifles at the scene.

Streets were blocked off and officers were telling an individual to come out of a house, the witness said on Twitter.
