Guns, pills and ice found in NSW home

Police have uncovered several guns and a large quantity of ecstasy and ice at a home in the NSW Hunter region.

Several guns, including a double barrel shotgun, more than 1000 ecstasy pills and 500g of the drug ice were found in the Broadmeadow home on Tuesday, March 28.

A 44-year-old man was arrested at the scene and later charged with drug and weapons offences.

Police say inquiries led to two more arrests in Raymond Terrace on Wednesday, April 5, where cannabis, MDMA and pills were also found.

The arrests come after a 31-year-old man was arrested and charged in Newcastle with drug and firearms offences on Monday.
