Homicide detectives investigating after woman found dead in NSW home

A woman has been found dead at a home in the NSW Southern Tablelands.
Police were called to the home on Joshua Street in Goulburn, about 90 kilometres north-east of Canberra, for a welfare check about 7am.
Local officers arrived at the property and needed to force their way into the house, where they discovered the body of the woman.

The woman has not been formally identified but police believe she was aged in her 40s.
Police set up a crime scene with detectives from the Hume Police District and the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report on the Crime Stoppers NSW website.
