Gang of 'thieves' nabbed in Lismore

A gang of accused thieves have been slapped with a swag of charges following simultaneous raids in northeast NSW.

Five men were arrested after officers raided two homes in Lismore on Thursday, discovering loot including electricals, tools, a coin collection and camping equipment believed to be stolen.

Three of the men, aged 23-32, will front Lismore Local Court on Friday on multiple aggravated break and enter offences, while two others will face court next month.
