Four charged in Sydney street shooting

Three men and a woman have been charged over the shooting of a man in Sydney's southwest.

Emergency services were called to Torrens Street in Canley Vale about 3.40pm on Sunday where they treated a wounded 29-year-old man, police said.

He was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Following inquiries police arrested four people, all in their 40s.

It is believed the men are known to the victim.
