Four men have been charged over an alleged meth smuggling ring operating across Victoria and NSW.

Australian Border Force conducted raids and found 65kg of ephedrine concealed through a variety of methods including belts, computer desks, dartboards and water purifiers.

The ephedrine could make up to $60 million worth of ice.

The consignments from Korea, China and the UK were addressed to residential properties in Victoria and NSW.

It's alleged the syndicate was using associates met via online gaming and internet cafes to assist with the importations, said ABF in a statement on Friday.

Three Victorian men in their 20s are facing importing charges before the Melbourne Magistrates Court, while the 26-year-old NSW man faces the most serious charge of importing commercial quantities of a border controlled precursor, which carries a maximum jail sentence of 25 years.
