Fire tears through NSW Central Coast shopping complex

Five shops have been destroyed in a blaze on the NSW Central Coast.
Forty firefighters were called to the Elizabeth Court shopping complex at Erina around 4am, where they found multiple shops well alight, with flames shooting through the roof.
The blaze has now been contained however crews remain at the Karalta Road complex, near Erina Fair, to control any hot spots.
Fire & Rescue NSW said it was a difficult blaze for firefighters to fight, "as the fire travelled through the roof void above the shops."
Some of the shops destroyed include a hairdresser, a picture framing store and LJ Hooker.
Karalta Road will be closed for some time.
It is unclear how the fire started.
