Fire destroys heritage home in Wagga Wagga

A heritage-listed home in the NSW Riverina has been destroyed in a suspicious blaze.

Emergency crews were called to the home in the centre of Wagga Wagga on Tuesday night to find the house engulfed in flames.

Police say the house was unoccupied and no one was injured in the fire.

A crime scene has been established at the Johnston Street home and forensic officers will examine the site.
