Baseball cap drama ends in hospital trip for two men at a Sydney nightspot
One man is in hospital and another has been charged following an argument about a baseball cap at a hotel in Sydney’s east.
It’s believed two men, who were not known to each other, got into a fight last night at a hotel in Bourke Street Woolloomooloo when one pulled on a hat being worn by the other.
Police allege the man wearing the hat punched the other man twice in the face, causing him to fall and hit the back of his head on the ground.
The injured man was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital where he is being treated for a split lip and a possible skull fracture.
Police arrested the other man, a 35-year-old from Bondi, and took him to Kings Cross Police Station.
He was charged and granted bail to appear in court next month.
