Driver flees scene after Sydney crash
AAP
Police are trying to track down a driver who fled after crashing a stolen car into another vehicle with a child inside in Sydney.
An Alfa Romeo, later confirmed stolen, was travelling through Doonside on Monday evening when it smashed into the back of another car, which spun out of control and hit a tree.
The 39-year-old woman driving the second car was taken to hospital with back and neck pain, while her eight-year-old child was not injured.

The stolen car, which police say is linked to several break-and-enter cases in the area, was badly damaged and abandoned at the crash site.
