The man who killed Sydney teenager Daniel Christie in a one-punch attack is set to face sentencing proceedings.
Daniel died in hospital on January 11, 2014, days after Shaun McNeil's single blow knocked him to the ground and caused him to hit his head on the pavement in Sydney's Kings Cross on New Year's Eve.
McNeil was found not guilty of murder, but guilty of the lesser offence of manslaughter following a trial earlier this year.
The crown had argued McNeil delivered a "large swinging punch" to Mr Christie, causing his body to stiffen and his head to hit the pavement with an audible crack.
The 27-year-old has always maintained he lacked the requisite intent for murder, later describing the punch as a "jab".
He will face sentencing proceedings at the Supreme Court on Friday.
