A man on the NSW Central Coast has been charged with hundreds of offences after allegedly orchestrating and filming the sexual abuse of three women over a seven-year period.

A police investigation, which began last year, found 2.5 million files across 120 different electronic devices that allegedly contained videos and images of the sexual and physical abuse of three women aged between 29 and 31-years-old.

Police said the devices contained a large amount of covertly filmed sexual content.

These devices were found after a search on a home on the Central Coast in December last year; the search was part of an investigation into an alleged domestic violence incident.

Police continued to investigate, and on Monday, a 39-year-old man was arrested in the state’s Central West.

Overall, he was charged with 210 offences, 109 of which relate to the alleged intentional recording of intimate images without consent.

His other charges include 12 counts of aggravated sexual assault depriving liberty, 10 counts of sexual intercourse without consent, two counts of administering poison intending to injure or cause distress, and the aggravated sexual assault of a victim under the age of 16.

The charges above are all linked to domestic violence, police say.

The 39-year-old was refused bail to appear before court on Tuesday.
