Car slams into unit block in Sydney's north

Emergency services have rushed to a block of flats in Chatswood, in Sydney’s north, after a car spun out of control and slammed into a row of exterior gas metres.

Two cars collided at the corner of Albert Avenue and Spring Street about noon, sending one vehicle spinning out of control.

The car struck the row of gas metres outside the apartment complex.

The driver has been taken to hospital with minor injuries.
