A Canberra massage shop has been left in ruins after being ploughed into by a car, leaving five people lucky to be alive after some workers were trapped underneath the vehicle.
The Subaru Forester smashed into the Weston massage spa just before 12pm on Friday, leaving three staff pinned under the wreckage.

They were all later freed and taken to hospital with lower limb injuries, with two in a serious but stable condition.
ACT Ambulance operations manager Chris Tyrrell said it was “frankly astounding” that they did not sustain worse injuries.
“When you’ve got an object weighing over a tonne laying on top of you, the mechanism of injury is quite high.”
ACT Fire and Rescue commander Jeff Dau said it took about 45 minutes to free them from the wreckage, which he added was “pretty good considering the complexity, the amount of debris”.

He described the crash as “a scene of chaos and confusion”.
“We used airbags to raise the vehicle and with that, we were able to release the entrapped.”
The car remains wedged in the building, and the 84-year-old female behind the wheel tested negative on roadside drug and alcohol tests.
Police say she has been assisting them with enquiries following the crash.
She suffered minor injuries, along with a fifth person who was inside the store.
