Body of missing swimmer found in NSW

Authorities have recovered the body of a man who went missing in a lake in southern NSW.

Police say the 44-year-old was swimming at Lake Mulwala, near Albury, with a number of children when he got into trouble and vanished about 8.30pm on Wednesday.

The children swam to shore and raised the alarm, and a search was conducted until about 11.30pm.

Police and emergency services found the man's body on Thursday afternoon.
