Bikie associate arrested in Sydney

An associate of an outlawed bikie gang has been arrested following a police investigation into the supply of illicit drugs in Sydney's southwest.

The 32-year-old associate of the Comanchero's bikie gang was arrested at his home in Eschol, with police seizing a rifle found in the backyard for forensic examination.

Officers also uncovered encrypted mobile phones, ammunition, a boxed clandestine laboratory and drugs including ice, MDMA and steroids.

The 32-year-old was charged with six firearm offences, resisting arrest and revocation of parole, along with a further 11 charges.

He's due to appear at Campbelltown Local Court on September 27.
