Alan Jones off air for another three weeks

Radio announcer Alan Jones won't return to the airwaves until next month as he recovers from neck surgery.

Jones, 75, made a visit to 2GB's Sydney studio on Monday to chat with colleague Ray Hadley, telling listeners he'll be taking another three weeks off.

The radio announcer had a back operation before Christmas and since has had several neck operations, the latest being on Friday.

Jones will head back to hospital to recuperate but has assured his listeners he will return on March 6.
