NSW woman wins $4.3 million lottery, cites odd Facebook video

A NSW woman has won $4.2 million and credited a strange Facebook post for her good fortune.

The superstitious Wellington resident was at work when officials from The Lott told her she had won the prize from Saturday's draw.

"F---ing hell. Wow. I'm glad you warned me to sit down," she said, according to The Lott.

"It's funny, I had a thing on Facebook that said, 'If you watch this until the end, a large sum of money will come your way'.

"I didn't really think anything of it, and here we are."

The woman said she would use the money to pay off her house and car.

"I'll be completely debt-free," she said.

Across Australia, there were three division one winners in NSW, two in Victoria, and one each in Queensland and Western Australia.
