Two charged over threats to WA Premier
Two men have been charged over alleged threats made to Western Australia Premier Mark McGowan and his family.
Police said one of the two separate events saw a "suspicious powder" and "threatening letter" sent to the Premier's Rockingham office in Perth last month.
His office was forced to shut down before the substance was not found to be hazardous.

A 58-year old man from the Perth suburb of Melville man has been charged and bailed.
He will appear in court on April 7.
Meanwhile, a 52-year-old man allegedly threatened the premier and his family online and over the phone last month.
Police allege he made "threats to the safety" of the premier and his family on February 28.

In a search of his home on March 15, police seized several items.
He faces multiple charges including a threat to unlawfully do an act and possessing prohibited drugs drugs, and will appear at Geraldton Magistrates Court on 14 April 2022.
