Sydney dad had no idea of Christmas Eve lottery win
A Sydney dad went through Christmas unaware he was $20 million richer, thanks to a lucky Oz Lotto win on Christmas Eve.
The Marrickville man in his 40s only realised this morning that he had the winning numbers in the Oz Lotto draw thanks to a call from NSW Lotteries officials.
As the sole division one winner in the Oz Lotto draw, he takes home the entire $20 million.

"It's been an okay year, but this really caps it off perfectly. This news is definitely the best way to finish off the year," he said.
"This will be hard to top next Christmas."
But the man was almost very unlucky, after nearly ignoring the phone call from an unfamiliar number.
"When the phone rang, I was thinking 'should I answer this call?'" he said.
"At this point in time, I'm really glad I answered.
"I can't wait to tell my family."

The winner, who wished to remain anonymous, bought his ticket online.
The winning numbers were 21, 32, 29, 28, 22, 20 and 5.
The supplementary numbers were 45 and 41.
The next lottery draw is tomorrow, with the Saturday Lotto Megadraw offering $30 million.
