'Best Christmas present': NSW dad becomes instant millionaire
A NSW dad has been given the ultimate Christmas present, becoming a millionaire overnight.
The father from Casino in the NSW Northern Rivers scooped up a $1 million-winning lottery ticket from a QuickPick 15-game entry at his local newsagency.
He won one of two division-one entries on Friday, pocketing the cool million-dollar prize.

When The Lott called him to announce he was an instant millionaire, the man was moved to tears.
"I can't believe it. I checked my ticket yesterday and haven't stopped thinking maybe it's just a dream," he told lottery officials.
"I work so hard for my children and their future, and I pray every day for blessings like this for our family.
"This is the best Christmas present ever, ever, ever in my entire life!"
He said the $1 million would help him buy a house and he plans to continue working.
"I work every day. I'll be working over Christmas too. It's all for my family."

"It's so exciting. I've been telling customers all year that I am going to sell a winning ticket, and I did it!" Rose told officials.
Plaza News owner Bill Rose, who sold the winner ticket, said his store hasn't had a division-one winner since 2018.
The second Weekly Windfall division-one winning ticket was sold in Western Australia.
