Woman attacked by dingo on K'gari
A woman has been bitten by a dingo and another lunged at on K'gari, previously known as Fraser Island, prompting warnings for visitors to stay vigilant.
Two dingoes circled a group of seven adults at Eli Creek at 11.45am on Thursday before one "lunged and mouthed" a woman on the thigh, according to the Queensland Department of Environment and Science (DES).
A second woman was attacked about five minutes later when the dingoes approached her from behind, prompting her to fall over before she was bitten on her thigh.

A stick was thrown to scare the dingo away.
The woman was helped by local rangers after the incident, although she declined their offer of medical treatment.
Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service is investigating the two incidents.
"Visitors and residents on K'gari are reminded to remain vigilant at all times, and children must be kept under constant supervision," the DES said in a statement.
The department also advised that young children should stay within arms reach of adults, as well as camping in fenced areas and avoiding leaving food out.
