James Packer's Italian-built superyacht has been listed for sale with the eye-watering price tag of more than $282 million.

The 108-metre vessel known as "IJE" is being offered for sale by international superyacht broker Burgess Yachts, carrying a price tag of 175 million Euros (or $AUD 282,365,150.20).

Mr Packer had the boat built by venerated yacht crafters Benetti, of which IJE was the longest ship and the flagship of their custom fleet.

It is believed the ship was named after his children Indigo, Jackson and Emmanuelle.

According to the listing for the superyacht, Mr Packer is described as "a very experienced owner" who chose a "timeless sculptural exterior" and "a relaxed beach house-style interior".

Providing accommodation for up to 22 guests across 11 cabins, IJE also includes effectively three functioning levels including a private owner's deck and a sun lounge bridge deck.

If that wasn't enough the superyacht also boasts a gym, a cinema, a dedicated nightclub, elevator, zero speed stabilisers and a range of 6500nm.

That range is described by Burgess as "true world cruising credentials" and could theoretically take IJE 80 per cent around the coastline of Australia on the fuel it holds in its tanks.

IJE is almost 16 metres at its widest point and boasts a cruising speed of 16 knots.
