Five-year-old boy critical after near-drowning in Sydney pool

A five-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital after a near-drowning in Sydney's north.

NSW Ambulance and police rushed to an address in Hornsby this afternoon, following reports of an incident in a private pool.

The boy was assessed at the scene and taken to hospital in a critical condition.
