Outgoing Prime Minister Scott Morrison has hosted a staff party in the garden of Kirribilli House, as he prepares to move out of the official residence after brutally losing the election.
Canapes and drinks were served, and Morrison gave an impromptu demonstration of his whip-cracking skills on the lawn.
His daughter Abbey also had a go - and nearly collected her father's head.

He will move a few km from Sydney's' inner west suburb of Marrickville, to the lavish waterfront home with his partner, Jodie Haydon.
