Teen fighting for life after stolen car crashes west of Brisbane
A teenager is fighting for life after a car hit a pole and caught fire in south-east Queensland.
Queensland police said a stolen Mazda CX-9 with two 15-year-old boys and a girl, aged 17, inside, was driving in Brightview, about 50 kilometres west of Brisbane, shortly after 6am today.
The driver attempted to overtake a truck on Brightview Road before hitting a pole and catching fire.

The 15-year-old boy remains in a critical condition at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, while the two other teenagers are now in stable conditions.
Brave farmers who happened to be nearby got the badly injured trio out.
Debris was scattered across the road and into a cattle yard.

Two emergency service helicopters were deployed to the scene.
Forensic Crash Unit investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the car before to contact police.
Police alleged the car was stolen from Clayfield, in Brisbane's north, overnight.
When questioned about youth crime in the state today, Police Minister Mark Ryan said they were "very complicated issues".
