Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has revealed the state's roadmap out of COVID-19 lockdowns once the vaccination rate hits 70 per cent double-dosed.

Mr Andrews said the roadmap - which he described as "aspirational but realistic" - involves a gradual reopening of freedoms around returning to school and outdoor activities.

The Premier said the lockdown will officially end on October 26, when modelling shows the rate of double-dosed Victorians aged 16 and over will hit 70 per cent.
